The Tunnel | Tranzit Days XXVIII
concert — 25.10.2025 18:00“The Tunnel” is a piece about an imaginary endless journey inspired by Franz Kafka novel “Eisenbahnreisende”, in which sounds and words merge together becoming a whole musical narrative soundscape. At the same time, could be a contemplation about a world without perspectives.

→ 𝐓𝐢𝐛𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐳𝐞𝐦𝐳𝐨̋ is one of Hungary’s most representative contemporary composers, influenced by the avant-garde as well as ambient and minimalist music. His multi-directional interest has oriented him towards the borderlands of different genres. He is a versatile artist and, in addition to his compositions, his performances are significant, as well as his films and installations.
He is passionate about the fusion of the human voice and instrumental music with the moving image. His music is a narrative and a music-filmic fabric composed of separate layers. This layering is a true trademark of the composer.
He is a founding member of the new music ensembles Group 180, Fodderbasis and Gordian Knot, producing several albums.
